Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome to St. Andrew's!
For those attending for the first time, the service might be both exciting and a bit unfamiliar - but rest assured!
During the service, you may encounter moments of standing, sitting, and kneeling, along with sung or spoken responses.
This could present a challenge for some individuals.
Please feel free to participate only as much as you feel comfortable. There isn't one "right way" and we've all been newcomers at some point!

Can I take Communion?
If you desire to receive communion, please come forward at the Usher's invitation. If you do not desire to receive communion, you are welcome to come forward to receive a blessing. Real wine is used for communion. If you do not wish to receive the wine simply cross your hands over your chest.
We encourage your questions! Please let us know if you would like to have a deeper conversation about receiving communion.
What is available for young children?
Nursery hours are subject to change during the Summer months.
Children are a vital part of our worship. All ages worship together and we intentionally seek to engage children.
To help young children interact, we offer worship bags filled with activities to help your children take part in the worship services and have a little fun! You can find these "Pray & Play" bags hanging up inside the main entrance to the church. Make sure to look inside for information on upcoming events and more.
Young children, ages four years and younger, may choose to visit the nursery where they receive excellent care during Sunday School and worship. We provide a welcoming environment, specifically tailored to the age of your children. The nursery room is staffed by caring professionals and dedicated volunteers.
Normal nursery hours are from 9:00am to 12:00pm each Sunday.
We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all of our children.
Nursery workers, worship care volunteers, and teachers all have been screened, background checked and trained in our child protection and safety policies.
