Stewardship

Stewardship represents the total care of St. Andrew's throughout the year as compared to an earlier connection primary emphasis on pledge canvassing. Our gift to God through his Church, of our time, talents and treasure is truly the enabler of all the various ministries of St. Andrew's.

We are actively developing an ongoing Stewardship initiative that embraces the total care of our Church. The plan, which includes short and long-term goals, is aimed at complete participation by the entire Parish. Greater stewardship means stronger ministries.

St. Andrew's Endowment Trust

The church has a modest endowment fund begun ten years ago with a current value of approximately $80,000. The endowment is governed through by-laws adopted by the Vestry and administered by the Endowment Trust Committee.

The Endowment can receive both designated and unrestricted gifts, provided that endowment funds are used only for purposes other than the general operation of the church. The Endowment Trust Committee consists of four lay persons elected to three-year terms and the Rector. Members and friends of the parish are urged to consider the church Endowment Trust in their estate planning.
